You are not broken

You don’t have to look like you’re struggling for something to be hard.

Maybe you’re functioning just fine on the outside. You get things done. You show up. People know they can count on you.

But underneath all of that, you’re exhausted. You’re anticipating what could go wrong, second-guessing yourself, trying to stay one step ahead, or wondering why relaxing never seems to come naturally.

Maybe you know exactly where some of these patterns came from. Maybe you don’t. Either way, you deserve a place to understand what’s happening without feeling like there’s something wrong with you.

Does this sound familiar?

Sometimes trauma looks a lot like “I’m fine.”

01

Always on guard

Even when things are technically okay, it can be hard to actually relax.

02

Overthinking everything

Replaying conversations, analyzing decisions, or wondering if you said or did the wrong thing.

03

Taking care of everyone

You’re thoughtful, dependable, and good at noticing what everyone else needs — sometimes before they ask.

04

Struggling to say no

You know boundaries are important. Setting them is another story.

05

Shutting down

Sometimes there’s just too much happening inside, and you don’t know where to start.

06

Never feeling “done”

There’s always something to fix, improve, prepare for, or figure out — and somehow it never feels like enough.

My approach

Let’s get curious about what your nervous system learned.

Trauma therapy isn’t about forcing yourself to “move on,” and it doesn’t mean digging into memories before you’re ready.

We’ll start where you are and explore how past experiences may be shaping the way you respond to stress, relationships, uncertainty, boundaries, and yourself.

The goal isn’t to never feel anxious or hyperaware again. It’s to build enough safety, awareness, and self-trust that you can live based off of your values, and not fear.

When Trauma and OCD overlap

Sometimes the question isn’t only “Why can’t I stop thinking?”

Anxiety and trauma can overlap with OCD in ways that make the need for certainty, control, or reassurance feel especially strong.

You might find yourself trying to think your way out of discomfort, checking how you feel, replaying what happened, or looking for reassurance that everything is okay.

Feeling unsafe → trying to control everything → temporary relief → more doubt → doing it all again

Ready for something different?

You don’t have to figure it all out first.

Starting therapy doesn’t require a perfectly organized explanation of what’s wrong. You can simply start where you are.

A different way forward

You are not broken.

What you’ve experienced may have shaped the way you see yourself, your relationships, uncertainty, and the world. But it doesn’t have to define what comes next.

Therapy with me is a place to slow things down, get curious, and build a safer, steadier, more honest relationship with yourself.

You don’t have to become a different person. You get to become more fully yourself.
